People have spoken about him tarnishing his reputation and that he should have never come back.

We all knew we were looking down the barrel of relegation when Danny came in and it would take a massive effort to keep us up. That's looking less likely by the game now but as the trap door gets closer I really can't see a better man than Danny to steady the ship in league 1 next season and hopefully he can then be given the time to rebuild and look to bring us back up.

I don't put this relegation down to Danny I put it down to the two previous regimes and the money they have wasted on players that just aren't good enough or haven't got the heart to play championship football week in week out.

Whatever happens the club still needs us and I for one will be there to back them.

Trouble is that with woods and hunt he has actually made our team considerably weaker

don't disagree selby. but the fact remains that wilson's signings have been poor, and the quality of football hasn't improved under him. i genuinely don't believe we're any further forward. barnsley fans were quick to say we'd 'dodged a bullet' last season with O'Driscoll, and cited him as culpable for brizzle's relegation. this idea that he is totally blameless just doesn't wash with me.

He's not totally blameless I just think the problems at our club were far worse than we could have ever thought. Players went in January and replacements were brought in who haven't worked out particularly well.

My main point is that I feel Wilson is the best man to steady the ship and regroup the club as a whole.
