We can't fook about any longer with this decision if we want a sniff of stopping up. His record is the worst in 20 odd years, why can't some on here see this?
I hope results pick up but i fear he has lost the plot, cannot motivate his players any more ( fact, as we've only come back from behind 4 times in 60 odd games) and he is too pig-headed to see his own failings and correct them.

What decision do you mean? The breaking even, spending what you earn or having Keith as manager?

Just seemed a strange way to phrase it if you were talking about him.

    Completely disagree obviously.

Well its obvious he's not being backed by the board to recruit anyone decent, either that or anyone decent doesn't want to be recruited by him or doesn't know who he is, and who could blame them really.....
This so-called board of ours need to take action with the management team soon if this rubbish run of results continues much longer.

I don't think the action they need to take is with the manager.

So your happy with the piss-poor return in points Hills team has given are you? your happy with only coming back from behind 4 times in 60 odd games to get summat with only one win out of those 4? You think he's a good team motivator and makes tactically sound judgements on the back of these stats? You really need to wake up and smell the coffee i think......

Well its becoming bleedin obvious Hill can't cope with it! Budget restraints got **** all to do with motivating footballers the last time i looked. Hill picked these players afterall and if he can't put them in the right positions or get them to laik and battle its down to him and has fook all to do with money. Its all too easy to blame hills budget rather than his inability to get the best out of what he's brought in.
Take Mido for example, if its true he's still 3 stone overweight how has the management team let this happen after 3 months out? answer me that....

Just so I know whether to support your proposal, can we just go through a few of your assumptions.

How much do you believe is left in the new man's transfer budget.
How much do you believe is left in the payroll budget.
How much wiggle room is there in the pay structure to increase the pay of new player recruits as compared to the existing players in order to avoid bad feelings affecting team morale.
How much do you think it will cost us to get rid of Hill and his team. I guess they will all be on one years pay as severance.
How much will it cost to attract a successor and replace the old managers support staff.
Would you increase the salary of the new management team.
How likely is it that the new man will be any better than the previous four managers, who were all reputedly rubbish.
How do you expect to convince Mr Cryne to change the policy which led to him appointing Mr Hill, a man recruited because it was thought he would be able to improve players recruited from the lower divisions.
How do you expect to convince Mr Cryne to dip into his own pocket to provide the new man with a major budget, and therefore a reason to leave his current club to come to a club that has struggled for years, and has a poor recent record for supporting its managers when the going gets tough.

I look forward to reading your thoughts and am eagre to be convinced.

This job has become more shitty with the players Hill has brought in!

I know that we have got no fooking money before you say owt else about that.
Hill came here knowing how much cash he had to spend, he mad a big thing about NOT BEING a lot of money, said that there was plenty of money available for his needs, yet the quality of players he has brought in coupled with the strange tactics , has got us to the point where we are looking more and more shitty !
Yet the fans are still behind him, he has the worst record of any manager I can remember. 8 wins this calender year is terrible, his inability to galvanise HIS players is shocking, yet the fans still back him. He moans continually about negativity etc, but at any other club in this league he would have been out on his arse before now.

Can't leave it too late, if this continues he has to go. And there will be a queue wanting the job.
If he does last November there is a good chance Nigel Adkins will be out of a job. And don't say he wouldn't take it, because he would, he'd want to prove how good he is.

Don't want to get into budgets as nubdi really knows what funds were/are available so is of little relevance. The only one of the last 4 managers i thought was crap was davey and he's beginning to look like sir alex at the side of Hill!
In the end, you hill supporters are just hiding behind budgets without really seeing and hearing whats right in front of you every week. I believe we have enough talent in this squad to compete and easily stave off relegation with the likes of steele, foster, goldbourne, cwyka, dawson, mellis, perkins, cranie, job, harewood, stones, hassell, silver, davies, mido, theres 15 straight off the top of my head. Trouble is, Hill doesn't seem to know or know how to get the best out of them or seem to know where there best positions are. This is what my rants about and the budgets got fook all to do with this as you can see. However i suspect that you don't want to believe these players are good enough and that hills the messiah and can do no wrong, blah blah,blah....

On the other hand, les blindly let keith stumble on as is and lead us to relegation and just chalk fook to championship football for Barnsley once and for all, i give up, fook it......

I can't believe anyone can't see Hill is the major problem.

You are probably right that finance has nothing to to with anything in football. In fact, if an Arab sheikh comes knocking on the door of Oakwell tomorrow and offers to take the club off Mr Cryne's hands and invest £50m in the January transfer window, we should tell him, "no thanks, because finance has got nothing to do with football". In the end, you anti-Hill brigade simply want to ignore financial facts of life and run the club as if money does not exist any more, and there really are fairies as the bottom of the garden. Judging by what I saw on Saturday, there is a really good chance that we will be relegated, and being a fan of more than 46 years, that is going to be hard to take. I have been there before, and I will get over it. But I don't believe in fairies and I don't believe in Father Christmas. Unless you start to confront and even try to answer the difficult questions, you are simply operating in never-never land.

Yet it seems that all you pro-Hill brigade seem to think there will be a magic wand to wave all of a sudden and Hill will turn things round, given his record since the start of the year I rather doubt it.

For the record I dont think sacking Hill is what is needed, but I can see why others do !!

I can't believe anyone can't see that finance is the major problem. I can't believe that Hill would not be a better manager if he had not just spent £50m on players. I can't believe that just over a month ago, 90% of the posts on here were about how marvelous Hill was and how he would take us to the top in spite of having no money. Just after Birmingham, I was asked about the result. I said that I would be happy to finish 21st. I did not kid myself then about the task that faces the manager, and I do not kid myself now.

The main problem at the moment is not down to finances , it is down to the fact that the players we have out on the pitch are playing in a way that will not win us many matches. We do not get the ball into the box with enough conviction to do any damage, we could have Shearer and Lineker up front and they would not score many goals because of the way we are playing.
The players are scared to death to put the ball into the danger area, why ? I can only assume that it is down to the way Hill wants them to play it. That is the problem, not what the cost of those players was. The only way to win a game is to score and we dont look like doing that very often. If we don`t concede a goal then we wont lose but if we dont score we will NEVER win either. Hill constantly says he is pleased with how we are playing, if he thinks we are Ok then he has a problem.

What a ridiculous statement.....if Mido had been fit(as in not injured) 3st(if that is an accurate figure) in 3 months would have been possible, when the blokes knackered his hamstring and can't run dropping the weight is difficult...tbh having seen Mido at Rotherham and then against Hull...there's quite a difference..but still a case of work in progress!!
