There has been so much negativity and baiting of one another for different reasons, so much so that a good dose of victory (coupled with a tidy performance) would be the perfect panacea this coming weekend. A good performance and result lifts everyone...

    Lol, I like the "You can have any opinion you want. As long as it's the same as mine then I will insist that you justify yours with facts, figures and old postings on here." brigade/crew/mob.

    Good solid display will do me. Yet another very stern test at home, which isn't ideal given what's gone before but we've just got to get on with it. Hopefully the enigmatic Vaz Te is available, give us some creativity and options going forwards.

    Nice concise interview with Mr Hill afterwards where he doesn't upset anyone too. And the moon on a stick please.

    Here we are in September and I've only been to 1 game. Missed the Southampton match as I was on holiday, saw the 'Boro game, but then we haven't got another game at home for a month! Very bizarre fixture schedule.

    In hindsight I reckon it's worked out for the best - whatever the reasons etc the 2 home games were horrible, both in terms of performance and atmosphere. It must have transmitted to the players so to be away from oakwell (hopefully) has allowed a bit of a start again, a couple of good away results has hopefully given the squad a bit of self belief, because a few of the newbies did look like startled rabbits in the headlights, so I personally don't think they've shown their ability yet.

    Here's hoping...

    Extremely Northern ..... players certainly have had a few days away from Oakwell ...... there have been tweets from places as far afield as Scotland and Portugal ! !
    I'd be happy with 4-0 to be sure. I'd be happy with 1-0 or 1-1. I'd even be happy with 0-1 cos in recent years when we have been up against big spenders more often than not its been a hiding.
    Just a decent performance will be something to kick-start things and bring the positive vibes back.
