    I like that bit

Apparently NEARLY four shops are boarded up. Nearly 4? Does that mean 3 shops are then? 3.5? 2.5?

It's good that the Sun puts the BNP's policies into terms a Bolivian tree frog could understand.

So that bloke John'd rather get £55 a week JSA than work?

That IS laziness I'm afraid, end of.

Just because he used to earn £24k shouldn't mean he can't work for less.

The Polish people he speaks of have taken THOSE jobs people like him DON'T WANT so he totally contradicts himself.

"They’re living in houses and getting benefits when the rest of us are all broke."

Like everyone in this country gets benefits and lives in a house?

Apart from those who choose to live on the streets.

And yes they do choose, there are plenty of shelters for them.

Did this reporter go in all the bars then?

If Blah's the 'only' trendy one.

That might explain why her article looks like it was written by a drunk.

Depends what you mean by 'wine bar'

When I go in there I don't drink wine :D

That wasn't the point of my post... did she go in all the bars in Barnsley? I bet not.

What a prat...they work for the minimum wage...I'm not prepared to do that

no...............much rather sponge off the social and sit outside the pub drinking beer you should not be able to afford.

Total total **** and a waste of space, glad to see my taxes going to such good use and supporting the hard hit pub industry!
He should get no benefits if he has said that....not that he can't work and there aren't jobs for him....simple fact is he is choosing
not to work because its suits him better......

As I said in my post, he contradicts himself.

They've taken our jobs, but only the ones that no-one wants anyway.

    He wants to work

but doesn't want to take a pay cut from what he was on before so he'll stick with £55 a week instead! Great logic! How about taking the minimum wage job but continue to look for work?
It's a fact of life that if you are made redundant then the chances are you'll end up with a job that pays less. It happened to me 8 years ago but then I worked my way up again.

    Precisely...

You're much more employable if you're currently working and have showed you're prepared to work yourself back up after a blow.

You can still look for a better job when you're employed.

He's just lazy like I say.
