Crowd might have been around 40,000 mark then. And Brentford would have kicked seven colours out of us and given us a right tonking.

Martin Allen would have continued his annoying but quite impressive cross between a madman and someone who actually seems to be a very good footie manager. And theyve have had us waving the white flag in no time. Just glad they didnt get through. (Y)

So how would you feel if we were playing Donny? We could start preparing for life in Div 1 right now. Think Swansea will be better for us to play against in a one off game. Brentford are very intimidating and are not for us,bit like Donny. If you disagree meet me in the Stables after midnight.....

    sometimes how it is

Brentfords style would not suite us. When teams get stuck right into us we can struggle at the moment.
its like when we went to Wembley i thought if Bolton had got through at that time i think we may have had a better chance.

Thats what I was trying to say but our poetic chum seemed to miss the point. Talking of Ipswich/Bolton in play off semi seem to remember Gudjohnnsen (him at chelsea) missing out late on for Bolton thru injury and then Ipswich either equalising or winning in injury time? Sometimes you know when its your year.
