i reckon all the indie kids in barnsley put together and buy the cinema and make it into a leadmill sorta place! perfect! really need a music venue so bad. look at the bands birdwell working mens club is getting, somewhere in town would get some right bands. indie/rock club all other time. maybe a couple of practice rooms for local bands.

Thanks, it does make me wonder what would have happened if I hadn't moved to a big city.

Fish is a bloke. He was the lead singer of Marillion.

If I were to guess someone who liked Marillion on this BBS I'd go for EastStander.

    My on going project

is to host bands at The Theatre, but it will have to be midweek as they won't sacrifice either a Friday or Saturday. We are very close to approaching promotion companies. I think the John Peel night will give The Theatre bosses more inncentive to getting it all sorting.
