Dropped this evening for 'disciplinary' reasons?

What's that then, failure to control a bat or a ball in the vicinity of a cricket ground?

The Yorkshire Twitter feed last night. No loss anyway because he's done nothing of note. Rather next summer schedules permitting we got someone like Gayle, Dwayne Smith, Reina, Dhoni, AB or B Mac to play in the 20/20.

I listened to the commentary last night and they mentioned several times that it was for "disciplinary reasons". Gillespie says on the YCCC website that he has drawn a line under it, so chances are he will be in contention for tomorrow's match at Scarborough.

This Aussie superstar experiment has been a big disappointment this season. Finch was borderline last year and non-existent this year. Maxwell has played a couple of good innings and had some good bowling spells but it's not been worth the money they must be paying him.

I opted out of going last night and (not for the first time) regretted my decision as it was a good performance. It could have been a Big Show V Big Mac night but that didn't happen. McCullum was bowled early by one of our teenagers (Fisher) and Maxwell just didn't play.

Ah well, on to the 50 over game now - let's see if we can win that. The Championship is almost wrapped up already so not worried about that side of things.
