How funny would it be if the match was postponed and rescheduled for the Tuesday week. That would wipe the smug smile from the gloating brigade's faces.
RE: I just hope there isn't heavy fog on the 16th and folk manage to get to the ground OK! nt nt We'll all set off nice and early, giving ourselves plenty of time to have a few beers and take in Anfield.
I got a Ticket and i don't think it's right Gloating, there's REAL fan's who are missing out on this game, and for what? A few "Glory Supporters".
All I can say to those Real fans without a ticket is sorry, and all the "Part-Timers" should be ashamed

end of day day im not gloating but im sick of people going on about it.if they wanted them that bad they would have got out bed early like all the others and got 1
yes, ok, and queue for hours, then tell my boss that i was late for work, unable to teach cos i wanted some tickets for a footy match........................do you think i, and others would have a job left to go back to, nob!!!!!!!!!
It wouldn't wipe the smile off my face Despite I haven't been "gloating" I'd simply rearrange my time off work to travel down for it.
i was there just after 6 am and i was 4th in the cue i got served at 9:10 am so what was all the problem
Bit of a simplistic way of looking at it. Personally I wanted one as much as anyone, have had a ST since early 90's, been going since 79, and been to a fair amount of away games, so I am gutted I am missing this one. Same goes for my brother. Unfortunately I live 50 miles away from Oakwell and had to be in a commitee meeting on Monday which there was no way of getting out of. My brother was down south on business. Had it been 1 ticket per ST I would have been able to get one today. I don't blame the people who have got tickets though, hope they make a lot of noise and get behind the reds. But you can't expect people who are season ticket holders (who commit money to the club blindly, year on year) to just shut up about it. Many are very angry at another example of a lack of care towards those that the club should look after. This could cost the club in the long run. Like i say though, hope everyone has a good time and gets behind the team, and help them to a win. Or even better a draw, so we can all see the replay.
RE: It wouldn't wipe the smile off my face I'm not gloating, and if people read posts from last night / this morning then I fully agree that the whole thing was a shambles.
Im a season ticket holder and attended 7 away games this season so have the right to go.
The reason I said the things in this thread is I am sick of reading certain things. The game get cancelled = I go another day. To suggest people get lost / crash / whatever in fog = bitter.

You won't see me at Plymouth I live in Glasgow, you're talking at elast £120 for a 9 hour train journey, then on top of that there's hotel, food, drink, etc. Not forgetting time off work It's just not affordable, and I am a ST and not some bit part supporter who comes out the wood work for a big match.
