I was watching the draw, when a girl( not even a barnsley fan) said " oh i watched the match on saturday, it was good, me an my family all want to go to the semi final now " (

 

Maybe that's what they need

A day out at a decent stadium to be turned into Barnsley fans.

 

If it weren't for the so called 'Glory Supporters' you'd be looking at 5-6,000 Barnsley fans in our end.

 

i think its me worried i won't get a ticket even though i will, but how many of these people will be there tomorrow night, not alot i don't think

 

yeah when i was in ground on saturday herd this bird say to her bloke "which teams Barnsley" (N)

 

Not to mention, likely that the glory fans will want the seats in the best area's.

 

Obvioulsy ST holders should get priority but please for gods sake, take ticket stubs into consideration. I couldnt afford a ST at the beginning of the season but have been to alot of the matches home and away and have kept all the stubs, seems like for nothing!

 

Your in same boat as me mate i couldnt afford a season ticket but i have only missed 3 home games this season due to work, Also been to avout 9-10 away games,

 

admittedly it would be nice to convert all the people who will turn up to Wembley into die-hards but it simply won't happen.

but don't moan because they're never going to be die-hards. They are just the people who take an interest, follow our results and probably watch us play Wednesday, but at least they do turn up for these games, where would we be if they didn't? Embarassing ourselves with a sparsely populated end at Wembley.

Because such clubs have had success in the past and that success builds the fan base..................full stop

Now, for the first time in a long time, we have some success .......and these simple b'stards on this message board dont want to share that success and bring future fans on board
This is the best thing thats happened to Barnsley FC for a long time and if it attracts another 1000 fans through the gate on a normal saturday afternoon then its been a great success

I suppose the same people would be complaining if only 7000 were going down to Wembley

Our allocation far outweighs our usual demand for tickets. We need loads of hangers-on preferably. Remember Swansea fans goading us because we were struggling selling our play-off allocation.

I couldn't care less who gets the tickets - it's extra revenue for the club and potentially more fans for the future. Or haven't you noticed Oakwell has been like a morgue for the past 10 years?
