RE: don't give a monkey's about the resulst, it's just fitness nt ******** we should beat these teams and beat them well give the players and fans a bit of confidence in team not hanging their heads in shame about the fact we can't beat part timers
Thats absolute cack mate No way should a team like York, be as fit as us anyway, we should be beating them, no question. I know that these matches mean nothing, but a winning attitude should be enforced throughout every match. Cardiff are playing in a tournament in Portugal, they have won again tonight against top league opposition, they are doing it the way I wish we were, play to win or not at all. If you just want fitness, then spend all the time at the training ground.
RE: **** me ur as bad as him, stop worrying, qpr is what matters nt if we can't beat these teams do you really think we have a chance against teams in our league?
RE: don't give a monkey's about the resulst, it's just fitness nt i will moan 2-3 against a blue square mid table side, we have had enough friendlies now to start to show what we are all about, 2-2 against york is not good enough or do you think it is
RE: They aren't part timers mate nt Fair enough i stand corrected on that but come on we should have won comfortably results like this do nothing to enhance the team or our confidence in them.
York 2 Boro 2 perhaps the Boro fans are saying the same. We shouldnt really read too much into the results of friendlies, even though the trend of conceding goals for fun seems apparent (Y)
well said We have had some shocking pre season results so far, if davey can't find an 11 that stops part timers and amateurs from scoring against us then how the hell is he supposed to do it against professionals in the championship?
A strong Middlesbrough Side....... Drew 2-2 with york last week, we'd all like it if we won every pre-season game if were been honest course we would, but it is just all about getting match sharpness back.
|I know what you mean... Winning matches breeds confidence however it really depends on what the managers objective is.
If he just wants fitness then his substitutions, tactics etc could reflect that and have a bearing on a true result. I think over the next few matches you will see a different picture.
I am slightly worried though having said all that.

8 goals conceded in 5 games so far pre season or not these are all lower league or amateur teams and we have conceded 8 goals in just 5 games. That is not good enough for a side aiming for success in the English Championship
