    Barry Ferguson to Barnsley?? Manager Simon Davey is monitoring the situation at Ibrox. He see's the experienced international as perfect to add strength and grit to the tykes midfield.

    It is thought that the disgraced player is keen to move south after the club confirmed he has no future with them. Ferguson's agent has already started to contact clubs altering them to his availabilty.

    The bargain basement price of £1.25m will attract the attentions of numerous clubs in Englands second tier.



    The football silly season has well and truely started
