This morning's news features a Manchester United keeper who could be on the move to the Championship and a completed transfer for Barnsley. MANCHESTER United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is reportedly the target of several Championship clubs ahead of the new season. The Daily Mail are reporting that the 23-year-old - who spent time in the second tier with Preston last season - is keen to gain more first-team experience away from Old Trafford.
Think you have read this wrong http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/breakfa...hampionship/story-29515638-detail/story.html?
Lol - its not very well written is it. Merging two seperate stories into one sentence like that. Easy to read wrong
I do rate Johnstone and I think he'll be a quality keeper after some game time in the Championship, but if anyone deserves to prove themselves in the Championship, Davies is definitely one of them.
You're having a laugh. Davies come on leaps and bounds last season and was a major part of our success. He doesn't need or deserve comments like yours.
Have we got another dad here? I completely agree with you by the way, just having a laugh because of the number of new posters lately coupled with George's dad revealing his true identity.
Completely disagree. Davies is the player I'm probably most confident will step up as you really can't teach shot stopping, and he's the best we've had in a while. Would say he's as good as Steele at shot stopping but he came on leaps and bounds with his positional sense, coming for crosses, one on ones and distribution last year. Given he is so so young for a keeper if he keeps improving as he has he will definitely be premier league quality by end of his twenties if not before.
