What about Craig Gordon? Still without a club after a Year out of the Game, if he wants to get back in the game he wont want a lot of wages???

Anyone know why he was out of the game for 1 year? Just because he couldn't find a club.

Wasn't he the most expensive goalkeeper ever back when he signed for Sunderland? He didn't get a look in once Mignolet became first choice.

I don't think he could look above joining a Championship club but I still think wages would be an issue, even if he's desperate to get back into the game.

    To be honest

I would rather stick with Alnwick if Steele goes .. take a step back and think. Alnwick with the present management team, given the chance... he could very well do what Steele did ... work his ballax off.

    Re: To be honest

I was thinking the same until I read this article at the weekend - Link

It looks like he could be back this year but it sounds like his last throw of the dice which is a shame as I thought he was an excellent keeper before he got injured.
