and what about sticking with the good goalkeeper we already have at the club. and i dont mean glass jaw dave!
RE: which good Goalkeeper is that then ??????? nt hmm . . . let me think . . . erm . . . o yeh . . . NICK COLGAN!!!

best keeper we have had since dave watson!

AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAHAHAHA A JOKE REYT... Please tell me tha joking...... Nick oh whats a crosshowdoyoucommandanareawhenshallItaltomyteammatesever Colgan....that one AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.... Funy guy you ...no really.
RE: Agreed nt im glad somebody agrees .
got to admit though his first season was /poo with us. the match against man city in the cup when he literally let 6 goals in had me saying he was the worst keeper ever, but how wrong i was.

RE: and Mike Sheron was our best ever striker...hahahahahaa oh it hurts nt never said that about mikey sheron - he truely was *****. gimme dave regis any day of the week.
But Nick Colgan....oh behave... his non Command of the air or the area is terrifying...his communication with his team ...shocking. He made "THAT" save and thats about it. I would say a vey large proportion of fans are always worried whan he is between the sticks.
Ditching a half decent, hardly ever plays for his country goalkeeper.. Yes, not mind boggling to me. Doesn't shout for the ball, can't handle crosses and his positioning his very poor. I say half decent cause he is a good shot stopper.
Last I saw Carlo Nash was released. Anyone signed him yet? Oh and anyone who thought Jamie Cureton was ***** and past it and was no good for us need not reply.
RE: AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAHAHAHA A JOKE REYT... He is a very good shot stopper....and has saved us loads of times. If he was as good at coming for crosses as well he would be out of our league and be playing for someone else...
not a lot really http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=41523

http://www.arsenal.com/player.asp?thisNav=reserves+and+youth&PLID=60241&clid=4436&cpid=825&title=Player+Page+Vito+Mannone&LID=Player+Files
Vito spent three months of the early part of this season on loan at Barnsley, an experience that he learned from as a player and person: "The football is very different from what we have in the Premiership," says the stopper. "A goalkeeper has to be mentally very strong as the game is played more direct. The aim of most teams is to send the ball straight up the pitch to the strikers. A goalkeeper has to be prepared for very physical challenges. For me it was a bit of a shock at first, especially as I had to come off the bench on the first day because the keeper had been sent off after 10 minutes.
"I was an 18 year-old in a new team, new type of football and playing with just10 men against Preston live in front of Sky Sports' cameras. It was tough, but I believe I learnt from it," he reports.
"Also," continues Vito, "getting used to living in Barnsley took some time. I had my mother and girlfriend with me which made things better for me, because I believe that my family is my world and it is important to have them near wherever I am. Barnsley is very different from London and so that took a bit of time to get settled, but I played a few games in the Championship which gave me some important experience and I feel stronger for it."
