Luke has been one of my favourite players the past few years... And IMHO is the best shot stopper in the championship

But... His kicking and distribution is average at best... Communication and command of his area especially at set pieces is a weakness...

A great servant, cup hero, all time reds legend... Even in the last 6 games we saw heroics against Hull and gaffs against Charlton... perhaps it is time to give some else the No.1 jersey.

Is Alnwick the answer? He has the ability and potential... Former England youth with premiership experience playing for Sunderland before his big money move to spurs... he's lost his way and didnt have a good start to his oakwell career... but If anyone can get the best of of him it will be flicker.

Or perhaps we will see a new keeper arrive... A familiar face in Ross Turnbull. or an unknown who could surprise us all as Heinz Muller did.

If Luke does leave. He will leave with head held high and go down as a legend. But perhaps a change may suit both parties.

    In flicker we trust!
