How dare he? Bottom of the league and grinning like a pillock on TV? Positive and forthright? Shame on you Keith Hill.
Did he say which end of the pitch the goals will be at though? If he picks his usual favourites in defence I know which end I would put my money on, the same end that has conceded sloppy goals all season. A slightly positive short term interview hours after embarrassing and slating his employers and criticising the club making us look stupid on national TV is not something that I think deserves much praise to be honest.
Wooooaah. At what point did he 'slate' his employers? And speak for yourself if you felt, or felt that you looked - stupid. I certainly didn't, well no more than usual and certainly over nothing Keith Hill says. I was just thinking 'gerrem telled, Keith' I want to see a bit of attitude from our manager. That Daily Mail's got thee blowing up over nowt. Let's have a poll, who feel's stupid?
The managers come and go at will. It seems to be the tradition at this club to sack a manager. "There's been no vision, no future, just the sacking of a manager and the expectation it will all be put right. "If there's a call for me to be sacked and the owners believes that to change a manager is going to pay dividends for this football club, don't dilly, don't wait - just do it. Unless I'm mistaken he's talking about Pat Cryne, the bloke who has decided for the last 10yrs when and who to sack
That's hardly 'slating'? Haven't the board said more or less the same thing regarding BFC's management record on more than one occasion? I've got absolutely no problem with that, it is completely true. He also added if his possible sacking was based on recent results rather than the wider job within the club, he would accept that. I take issue with a quite a few of Hill's decisions and I don't believe he's fireproof for a minute. The tipping point will come at some point, but he's right when he says a new manager will not be a cure-all for everything that is wrong with the club.
There's been no vision, no future, just the sacking of a manager .........never heard Don or Pat say this......ok them, not a slating but a stab in the back perhaps or a bite on the hand that feeds him
Again, nothing we don't know to be true to a point. And it's nothing we don't say on here on a regular basis. I do think he might have phrased this much better, but it is Keith Hill after all. Emotions are running high throughout the staff and supporters especially with the derby coming up, plus I think his 'attitude' is provoked more by the same tired questions. Last time I looked, there was no pre-match interview on the official site, which would suggest he has been reigned in. I still find him refreshingly honest and engaging but I want results now.... and sensible team selections
