The next video which played automatically for me was the Sky Sports' highlights of the goals here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_1iWhSCY5M&feature=youtu.be
45 yard free kick, two volleys, ball hits the net without touching the ground. That's difficult to do without any defenders or a keeper. Amazing goal.
Re: Nice According to some on here anyone can take a set piece so we have to take away what Hourihane did last night and against Burton so he's still done **** all this season Worrying defending for the two we conceeded with them both being inside the six yard box. Davies should have had control of the ball for the opener.
Re: Nice To be fair anyone (footballer) CAN take a set piece. If you can't float a ball into an area from a dead ball then you need to quit. Every single Barnsley player should be able to do that, if they can't then they are not good enough and there is something drastically wrong. The thing is though that hourihane has got a great understanding with our players in the box when it comes to freekicks. They know what to expect from the kick, he knows what to expect from the runners who in my opinion are a BIG part of the success we are having from set piece and it just works. Does that make his freekicks amazing and the best in the world? Does it chuff. Does it matter if they are or not? Does it heck. As I said they should all be able to do it and I reckon they all could but he IS doing it and it is working so full credit to him. Note: shooting from freekicks is a different kettle of fish altogether. Edit: not sure if it comes across as it but its supposed to be a post praising hourihane
