.. but nonetheless very relieved.

The door has been opened in the nick of time. God knows who is responsible for shoving all this on, but contrary to popular belief there does seem to be people out there - AND players who do want to come.

    Thanks a bundle.

Brinkmanship? - I'd be no good at it me [IMG]

it has to be shepherd doesnt it.

shepherd complains AR isnt getting anyone in. AR goes, we get lots in.

still, i wonder if shepherd could have done this with teh players and gave them to AR to use.

so even though AR wasnt keen, he would have them there at least.

but then again, why hasnt he been playing nads, still dont uderstand that.

shame AR has gone, but onwards and upwards. hoddle anyone?

Or are they just trying to prove a point by signing anyone they can get their hands on regardless!?!?

Im gobsmacked too mate. Seems like yonks ago we actually strengthened the team

Proper looking forward to Saturday now. Although I dont expect miracles, with it being their first game together, I dont think people should be jumping on their backs. Given a few games they could gel really well. Fingers crossed.

...but we haven't signed a defender or a striker yet?

Signing wingers and midfielders is great, but we need at least one defender, a striker who can finish chances, and a quality defensive coach to pull it all together.

indeed and who is picking these players??
We don't have a manager and so is it the board? Does the new manager want to come to club where the board picks the players and he just picks the team? Quite disturbing unless GS is just 'proving' that it really was AR that was standing in the way of new players coming to the club.
