Good Manager. Maybe not the most lucid conversationalist, but I'd rather have a decent football Manager than a PR windbag like some of the managers who are interviewed by the media.

one of the many charasmatic managers who have graced the oakwell dugout

you know the type, lots of fire and passion in their interviews, get the fans behind them and all that. You know them that sound like they know what they are doing.

No? I thought not, I can't remember when we last had one of those.

    I spoke to Gordon Shepherd

at the time Hart was at Oakwell and he was less than enthusiastic to say the least (Gordon wasn't Chairman then by the way, just a board member).

Can't wait for Hull to follow Pompey's logic ....

..... cos when they sack Phil Brown, they will appoint Brian Horton .......... and then replace him with ..... Steve Parkin!!

How on earth is he a good manager? He was toss for us, almost as bad as Spackman. He managed to keep Pompey up (not a great thing when you consider the form of Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Hull) so he deserves another go but I reckon he'll be sacked by November.
