u would think our club is run by amatuers.. last year they were giving Robins funds for Harewood with 10 games left?! and McShane, O'Connor?!
now, poor Keith isnt given a penny to scratch his arse with!
if money is so tight now, why wasnt it 6 month ago when they were quite happy to fund daft wages on those 3 above, despite having no chance of promotion or relegation?!
and they talk about the fans not understanding..

Deadline day is all about the Premiership, other than West Ham and Leicester, there arent many Championship sides being mentioned on the BBC feed that I can see, and sounds like the Haynes rumour has been put to bed, so at least we're not worried about losing anyone. Hopefully a few sides will lose players and that might help us.

Mark and Simon have *****ed all our (P Cryne's) cash

Nothing left except what Hill generates and what comes through the turnstyles - did someone mention Netto and Aldi ?

    David Perkins' hair dye ?

Running costs I would imagine, given that it looks like Cryne's been underpinning our financial situation by £2mill per year is the recent accounts are as perceived.

I think its been documented somewhere that our income is down this year by £750k due to a drop in TV money. Added to which, attendances are also down, no Sheffield clubs in Championship, another manager to pay off, all adds up to = skint.

Let others clubs splash the cash and dig themselves deeper into the financial mire. With a bit of luck 3 Championship sides will go into Admin this season and 40 points might see us survive again.

Might have been Tesco if we'd have managed a bit of a cup run...

I don't think we will be paying Robins. He quit.

Otherwise I agree with what you have said.

Fans through the turnstiles - nail on head mate. We must have 13000 fair weather stay away fans who moan like **** that they don't come due to lack of ambition, etc but don't help to fund any ambition. All the excuses used for staying away go out of the window when the likes of Chelsea and manure come to town; all loyal as **** then. Just like the kn0bs in manure tops in tarn on Saturday afternoon. Tw@ts.

whitey , you got it spot on....u would think our club is run by amateurs..
according to Robins it was and still is..if memory serves me right, he claimed it was run like a conference club...

and before anyone starts ...no im not a fowl etc.. just that Im too long in the tooth to expect anything different from my beloved Barnsley....No Im not been negative, I just accept the facts, these days we are just happy to tread water and hope everybody still supports the club throwing good money after bad because thats tradition, a tradition thats been handed down from our fathers and their fathers before them. No matter how bad we are, no matter what league, the ones in charge continue on their own path way, picking up their wages week in week out, and at the end of the day they walk away with a big pay off, for such a marvelous job they've done, not, whilst we sit in the same seat week in week out and are then left to pick up the pieces and wonder whats wrong with the club we all love.

As far as I know we let 8 players go in preseason and we've signed 10 that seems to me a very proffessional club but don't let it sway you from having a dig at BFC again.
