he were a gentleman, fantastic singer and always put on a excellent show for all his dedicated fans which included me. also a good laugh to boot . i must have seen him at least 25 times and had a pint with him on several occasions mainly at batley he also loved britain and often said we were the most 'unusual' people on the planet true! all said in fun mind you, i've finished for the day workwise i'm in total shock . i am now gonna get pissed and play all his best music and cry ?? RIP mr fantastic gene pitney..god will take care of him and he'll sit at the top table in heaven with the likes of elvis, frank sinatra, john lennon etc etc.
