On current form this could be the first season since our relegation from the Premier League that all 3 promoted teams went straight back down. Cue American owners in the PL cal ling for a closed league !!!!!!
I thought, probably like most, they were doomed a few weeks back but they’ve seemingly clawed it back a bit. I wonder if Palace might drop as they’ve been flirting with it for a few years.
I reckon Everton will have another dip in form and the summer will be long and drawn out with litigation. One of the bottom three will go on a run (don't know which one) and third spot will be decided in court.
Sheff Ure and Luton going down together would be ace, so fingers crossed ehh!. Everton meanwhile will probably dodge the bullet again, somehow.
There's no chance of Everton going down, they'd be above Chelsea if not for the deduction. I fancy them to beat Man City tonight.
Luton seem to be finding their feet. I think either Palace or Forest could easily replace them in the bottom 3. They don't draw many games, and in a division where just 35 points is often enough to stay up, a handful of draws could be invaluable at the end of the season.
Hang on you want Luton to go down? A pretty much sustainable club run by people at the top who happen to be fans who've spent barely anything in comparison, a team full of ex reds doing well, bizarre!! I hope they stay up, it would complete what's been a remarkable story and keep something alive for the likes of 50% of clubs in the system to keep dreaming.
I have to admire how well C.Palace have improved since those days. When both of us and Bolton came up together, and went straight back down again.
You must have some strange vendetta against them, I'd much rather they stay up sticking 2 fingers upto the establishment of greed
Some of their fans are absolute tools, the Holmesdale ultras absolute laughable, young kids dressed in black playing green street and pretending to be some kind of Eastern block ultra mob. Be Brenford or Fulham for me much more of a family feel club
We still owe C.Palace (and Ian Holloway) a few beers lol, for them beating, and thus helping us to send Peterbrough down that day. And I don't think they and their gobby chairman/owner will ever forgive or forget.
Out of interest why the disdain for Luton? I would love for them to stay up. They truly do have a shoestring budget, not like people pretend Bournemouth etc do.
This run of good form for Bournemouth won't last of course, but they are obviously going to stay up. Btw I do hope Burnsley stay up, I think its a Dingles thing.
