Manchester is better. Take her up Cadbury Canal street, or summat. I've just created a representation of the Prophet Muhammed out of Danish bacon. Will the Muslimites shoot me?
The Royal Observatory and the National Maritime Museum amongst others. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenwich
Really? Comedy Police? Are they like proper coppers - but a bit spacky? PC Deacon - walking like a Joey & dribbling down himself? They sound great. Do you have the number for them?
Market, good pubs by river, decent shops/bars plus the park and view from the top. 10 mins train from London Bridge.
Just come back been last weekend take them to see a show there better than people think. Also did covent gardens thats ok.
I know. I blame it on the illegal immigrants. What do you mean by "these days"? I assumed I'd always been *****.
Carnaby Street Is probably not what you're expecting. Discount shoe shops and clothes shops- nothing like what it would have been in the 60s. Certain amount of nostalgia, but you'll have a much better time up Camden. Plus there's loads of good venues so you might catch a good band on- see www.barfly.co.uk.
West end/Soho is also nice, around Wardour St.
Nice down by the river, St Pauls and then over the wonky Millenium Bridge to the Tate Modern. Plenty of places for a drink/coffee by the river. Especially if its mild weather.
Plenty of restaurant discounts on www.toptable.co.uk if you're eating out- you'll find 2 for 1s and other good deals on there and budgets to suit all wallets.
