Just discussing yersterday that it has been a long time since we have been going to watch a match at home where the general expectation was that we would more than likely come away with a win.

At the moment I think we can go with a bit of an expectation that we will generally not lose. It would nice to step up one and have the expectation of winning - some strikers hitting form or new input would be helpful in this regard.

Cant recall at anytime that there was an expectation that we would win when playing away. I suppose the best we should hope for is that we should not lose - at the moment I think the general feeling is that when we play away we will lose. Though must admit do not feel that way with Doncaster on Tuesday. We are definitely playing better and a step up to not losing expctation can be something we can move to.

It really would be great to have a positive expectation for each mach that is not based upon just our unquestioning faith in the team which I feel that all true supporters ought to have - despite the facts pointing in an obvious direction

You dont need to go back too far to an expectation of winning away

Promotion season from the 3rd division under ritchie I Remember going to some away games if not expecting us to win thinking we had a good chance

Its not that long ago - never had that feeling in the Championship though

    Walsall away comes to mind

Although it was a crucial match to get us into the play offs, I certainly went there expecting us to win - and we did

When we are away I am always waiting for the other team to score & to see how many we lose by. It's disgusting our away form, we have warriors at home in Souza, Foster & Moore & most of the time all 11 players try hard - then the same players fall to bits away from home & don't try as hard!

This has to change this week, 2 draws minimum are needed at Donny & Charlton. 2 teams no better than us in awful form, we need to be confident & give it everything...............and take chances!!!

I agree the 99-00 season was a good year

Was disappointed when we didn't win away - we seemed to score for fun that year
