Mate just text saying that his mate as had a text off goldbourne's cousin saying he's definately wolves bound, personally I think it's utter ******.
well I would say we need to trim the squad a little if we get a decent price then why not,. So far not many have been happy with his performances this season.
Re: well I would say we need to trim the squad a little Now if it was Golbourne going I'd maybe be worried Is this the Golbourne who said he would have left us had we gone down as doesn't want to play at that level again?
Re: well I would say we need to trim the squad a little Golbourne....excuse my literacy When played at his best position I think he's a good player.
If he goes and we dont get a new left back in there will be big problems, with the money we`ve got at this level we should keep Golbourne
maybe play kennedy on the left, that's where he played his first game, 5 0 against Birmingham I think, played well anall
So THAT'S why he had the Gold flash put in his hair??? ~Silly me - thought it was something to do with his name!!
If he goes, and we get some decent money for him, it's good business in my opinion. Think he's reasonable at this level, but certainly not irreplaceable - as we found out over the last few games of the season. If he does leave, at least that is one player less being played in a position that doesn't suit him. He is not a midfielder/ winger by any stretch of the imagination, and I cannot understand why Flicker plays him there. Give RNL or Kennedy a go.
Only problem with letting him go is it only leaves RNL as a LWB, and it's not his natural position. Could leave us with no option to play with wing backs.
I suggested pre season we were light on cover at a natural left back position. RNL seems to be perpetually injured. Only Kennedy good enough as a LB replacement. But Flicker doesn't even play Golbourne as LB half the time. Waste of the talented players we have for midfield by sticking him further up.
