Good article that seems appropriate for BFC and some of its fans - even if it is about Warnock

This teams that keep their managers are more successful argument pisses me off

It must be proven; I mean just look at the relationship between the two! Therefore if you keep your manager you'll start winning. Utter B*ll*cks! Bad managers don't become good.

Fact is you need to be winning and successful to stay in a job; failures get the boot early and the successful managers keep their jobs until the success runs out; also, they're unlikely to move clubs whilst they're winning medals and accolades.

    unique situation with the money.

and a team built on previous managers foundations. Ranieri signed lampard cole gallas. and he actually set up the deals for cech and robben before he left. And liverpool dont exactly chop and change do they? evans, thn houlier (spelling?) than rafa. only 3 in quite a while how many we had since prem?

Newcastle? Portsmouth? Aston Villa? Millwall? Coventry? Southampton? Barnsley?

    No, you misunderstand me.

    There clearly is a link.

It's just the cause and effect are the other way round. Success leads to longer at the helm. Managers who would have been sacked aren't because they bag a trophy or two.

You don't deliberately let a good manager go, they get headhunted.
