    The Rule Of Four - Ian Caldwell, Dustin Thomason.

    **** - Good tale involving an ancient book and the riddles posed by it. A little Da Vinci Code-esque but much better written.

    The Five People You Meet In Heaven - Mitch Albom

    **** - Excellent concept, wonderfully written and easy to read. My 12 year old daughter loved it too.

    Shadow Of The Wind - Carlos Ruiz Zafon

    ***** - Fantastic read. Set during and just after the Spanish civil war in Barcelona. Wonderful writing that made you really care for the characters. Highly recommended.

    Also

    a very good football book that I read whilst away on me jollies;

    Full-time: The secret life of Tony Cascarino

    Not read many football books, but have to agree with the critics who say its possibly the greatest football book ever written.

    The World According To Clarkson. Probably the funniest book I've read for years. Top quality material.</p>

    Yeah, I enjoyed that.

    Series of articles written for the Sunday Times.
    As such it is a good book to dip in and out of as you please and so very handy on a busy holiday.
    Can't say me and Clarkson agree on many things but his style of prose does make me chuckle.
