Great game today lads - typical Yorkshire derby. As much as we gave him the stick, you're keepers a quality player (I think he was the sub keeper that cam on last season), kept you lot in the game a few times. Shuker impressed me aswell as no. 25, and your tall centre-back who did well considering he was marking the legend. I felt we deserved the draw, even though it came quite late and both teams could make cases for why we should have won the game (2 hit woodwork, clearances off the line, missing from 10 yards etc..) but to be honest I'd have settled for a draw with the form you were on and the slump we were in. Good crowd today as well and good atmosphere. All the best in 2006 - happy new year.
I agree, that "tall centre back", Matt Carbon i presume was the only player keeping us going also agree with the bit about the Kepper, Colgan is a different Man to what we saw last year and good on him. he made some fantastic saves today especially late on to keep us in the game. To be honest i thought both teams had the chances to win but neither could find it and Huddersfield eh, it just wasnt their day. They had chance after chance after chance in the 2nd half and the ball just kept coming back, richosheying (sp?) all over. They were unlucky and i hate to say it but if we'd have won today we didnt deserve it one bit. But tha'ts football whatever happens, happens and whatever doesnt, doesnt so fair doos. Good Crowd today Hudds and it brought in the home fans aswell, its seasons since ive seen the rows behind me in the family area actually have more than 5 people in them.
i must have said it 15 times in the last 20minutes "if... he'd kept that shot down it was in", tahts all they needed a low shot wed have beeen able to do nowt about it
