Great that we see and hear more from Patrick now.

Confirms that we got a windfall out of the Mason Holgate appearance at the weekend.

Patrick, if you'e reading this - please please please have another word with James with a view to putting a succession plan in place. There's no doubt the Crynes are good for Barnsley Football Club and I'd like to think that in many ways the Club has been good for the Crynes (you may beg to differ!)

No matter the actions of a few idiots, I'm sure the vast majority of fans are 100% behind you and would love to see the development of a Cryne dynasty.

Well said sir! I think unfortunately James is a young man who got a lot of unnecessary stick. Not just a bit of banter about the signings (when actually I think we'd all agree that the last few years whoever has behind the signings is a bloody genius!) but I think a couple of knob heads gave him some ***** on a train. Total ****ers whoever they were.

I would love Barnsley to be owned by the Crynes for as long as I'm alive. Would like nothing more than taking my son, who's one now, to his first game - point to Hecky and say "he's from Barnsley", point to Patrick or James and say "he's from Barnsley" and say that's why I bloody love our team. Because forget the greed league. Forget your champions league. Football used to be about supporting your own. Your own players. Your own owners. How the hell can people support a bunch of mercenaries, paid by a conglomerate from America. I would rather support our current set up in any league than support the likes of Wendies or Leeds or any other club owned by criminals, crooks, or people trying to make money or use our club as a plaything.

We're Barnsley. We're local. We support our own.

Top, top post. Agree. I'm nearly 42, lad of 15, and it's not often I've felt connected to BFC like I do at the moment.

Keeping the Cryne family involved would make complete sense to me.

I have to say I have never heard a better & more frank interview.

BFC in totally superb hands with this man.

I really liked John Dennis & he was very unlucky with the Sky money & the lack of support from the bank.

PC is a very clever guy & I think we would be stupid to want someone to take us over.
