if they bring this new rule in to give a corner if a keeper time wastes.
Imagine how many corners Brad would have given if the rule was already in place.

Apologies in advance to all you who opened this thinking something else but it was too good to miss :):):)

None, because he wouldn’t have done it in the first place. Always thought the accusations of his excessive time wasting were overly exaggerated anyway

No they weren't imo. (The accusations that is) He was awful re going to ground.
But it wasnt just him. Adam Davies started the ball rolling. (Or not)
Then came Radlinger. Walton and Collins Following suit.
    Isted stopped the rot.
It used to do my head in. Can't say I've noticed Roberts and Killip fall into the same category as that lot.

I don’t think he did it as often as folk made out, and the post I replied to basically said if the new proposed rules of penalising were in and Collins was in goal ‘imagine how many corners we’d concede’ I’d say none because he wouldn’t do it, simples

With respect tarn tyke. Imo he did it on every single occasion if we were winning or on the defence towards the end of games.
I actually lost my rag every friggin time. It was so annoying.
Of course he wouldnt do it if a new rule was brought in. I'd agree, But it isn't in.
I'd say him and Adam Davies were the worst culprits.

    Isted stopped the rot?

Selective memory I fear there buddy. Isted’s ’dad run’ to retrieve the ball was legendary! He wasted time.

There isn’t a goalkeeper in the professional game that won’t try to take time out of the game when in front or after a sustained period of pressure.

Isted most certainly did it; the home playoff v Bolton had plenty of examples but there are plenty more.

I find it a bit bizarre that Collins is castigated for it too. He’d have been under his coaches instructions.

As for Roberts and Killip, Roberts was booked for time wasting v port vale and we’ve not been in front in that many games since - at home at least I mean.

Never said they weren't under instructions. Doesn't make it any easier.
