Good job we turned down those approaches for Mellon recently

    I still think its his job to lose...very well thought of at Oakwell and elsewhere..

    would be a poor decision for me. history repeating itself. IMO, we need to clear out the legacy and start again. he'd be under pressure straight away. the first signs of struggle, it would be 'flicker's clone'. hats off to PC for showing faith in flicker - but it didn't pay off. and the only reason flicker even got the gig, was that 2 other managers turned us down.

    I really like Mellon and reckon he could do really well somewhere, I think we need a new start though this time.
