I'm absolutely gutted he's gone, I really liked the bloke, I always found him to be open and friendly and I for one would like to wish him all the best for the future but no one person is bigger than the club and we move on,
Entirely agree. Massive breath of fresh air after Don Rowing. Very articulate and business savvy in an era of football that needs this. Bad news for the Club.....
hes gone to one of our main rivals with all our financial and operational secrets, sneaking behind Patrick's back talking to the scum...... Total t.wat
made all his mistakes here (including part of a dire relegation campaign) and finally started doing a great job so sad to see him go. Hope we continue to flourish without him as we did when Johnson left.
Not going to wish him luck, when he's clearly sold us out at a critical time.. I'm wishing him another relegation to add to his CV.
One good half of a season with us after several poor years and is off at the worst possible moment. Johnson-esque
Maybe I've read Bens interview wrong. He just says a big thank you to Patrick for the opportunity and support.
Its not chance so many clubs commented on needing a Mansford figure through the season. I am very worried about him swooping in for our better players given his existing relationship and knowing all about their contracts but surely there must be some rules about him behaving in such a way? If you left a company and swooped in for all their clients because you know their grievances and what they are paying you'd definitely be breaking the law.
Good luck Ben and all the best... but players come and go, so does anybody really give a 5hit about the CEO going....
Lots of complimentary comments about Ben leaving on various threads, it shows a positive side to the BBS and should be commended but I personally think he can pxss off the giant Bell end.
