    You were treated like s@@t at Newcastle, did about as well as was possible at Brum, keeping Norwich in the prem minus Grant Holt & maybe one or two others... not easy... great manager, player & pro, so I wish you all the best.

    Aye good luck to him. Done a good job at his clubs so far and is going to be a top manager IMHO. Met him once, with Ponty, when he was a Spurs player.

    Yh I remember that. Good luck to him, he seems like a really humble bloke, and he has done well so far as a manager.

    Treated like **** by Newcastle and then given another chance by Birmingham only to leave at the first opportunity. Funny how there hasn't been the same level of uproar about his lack of loyalty.

    Treated like **** how? The decision to sack him ended up being very much justified as he wouldn't have got them on the verge of the champions league.

    Because he wouldn't have brought in the players Pardew did and because when he got fired the team was struggling to even be a top half club.
