    It's pointless repeating the comments of others of how poorly the club has handled this whole affair - I do agree.
    However, let's not forget that DS is about to encounter the trials of British justice. I, for one, hope that it goes well for him.

    Hopefully Barton gets a nice Barnsley welcome.

    On the other hand hopefully Daniel gets the warm welcome he deserves on his return back to the town. I’m sure he will.

    I doubt Daniel will be there. Witnesses would not usually be called at a first hearing. Likely that Barton will indicate NG and the whole thing will be put out to about next May for a trial.
