for rest of season.Came down from Sunderland today, and had a great day.Lot of talk of pubs being shut and being marshalled around by SY police, but to be fair we went to the Cutting Edge pub, and we were made most welcome, and the 2 cops watching over us there were spot on.As for some posts ive read about our fans in your end, im afraid this was inevitable, as there was such a high demand for tickets for this game, but their behaviour should be kept under control.Fair result i think really, but like i say..............Good luck for rest o season.......GAZ

Yes we had two bus loads of you in our local club and your fans behaviour was impecable, shame about the result. We have Plymouth and Coventry our next two away matches if we get rock-all from those games then it's goodbye championship. Sunderland will be promoted automatically. (titanic)

Agree that it was a fair result today. We had our spells but you deserved it over the 90. We were beat by a side with far more quality. You pass the ball well and we couldnt cope with your movement, particularly in 1st half. Best team to come to Oakwell this season and from what I have seen today I would say you will win this league. Keano has done a great job. All the best in your promotion push.

certainly as a sunderland fan, we are actually for the first time in my lifetime starting to play through midfield rather than route 1.We didnt play as well as we have been, because stokes is normally a big threat, and yorkie runs the show in midfield, but today was a good solid performance.Felt that your lot started to play a bit when the first went in, but the lads at the back are doing a great job for us..

Yh, Evans won everything he went in for and dominated Ferenczi in the air. Nosworthy had a decent game too. Also thought Connolly was a right handful up front.

Best team to come to Oakwell? Hard to disagree....................but please, I would have more admiration for opposition fans if they come on here AFTER we had beat them and wished us luck. Can't believe they have the cheek to patronise us with their hollow best wishes messages...........................funny, can't remember Stoke fans being so full of best wishes after we beat them 1-0 a couple of weeks back.

It gets a bit tedious mate this 'we wish you luck' business.

Don't get me wrong - it's better than some lowlifes (Bladeforlife?) who come on here with the sense of humour no respectable 10 year old would associate with.............eg full of 'you lot are in breds, you are sh**, you are wa** etc etc'........however, as mentioned it does feel patronising and very rarely - on the few occassions it has happened- do we get a considered opinion from an opposition fan after a defeat. The Prem indicated to us that we were 'everybody's favourite second team' because we were plucky losers rather than winners. British mentality I guess.
