Lol

Back in the day when you wanted to chuck your season ticket at Davey you were saying Shep had sold us a pup.

It doesn't matter Nudge, we're all entitled to change our minds......

RE: Lol

And I suppose you were the one and only person at the time that wanted Davey as manager
And to my knowledge i never said i was going to throw owt at Shep
And to my knowledge this must be the first time you have been on this message board since Davey took over - because if it isn't you must have seen that I have been banging on about how much better Davey is than Ritchie

But then again - thal mek thi marth say owt (blagger) (blagger) (blagger)

No, throw your ST at Davey, not Shep. Please read carefully before replying.

Me ? I didn't think Davey was up to the job. I also said 12 games in this season would give a good indication of where we are at.

Mid table will do me fine, as will Simon Davey proving me wrong. Hope we finish higher, but there you go.

I Didn't realise you were that sensitive.

what was asked/answered? ...........all sorts............SUMMARY

SD said this.............

Muller - he knew before buying him that he would be the best in this league
Hassel and Howard - have had to lift there game since new players have been brought in, and they have done this
JCR - alot said about him and his 'inability to get crosses in' but SD satisfied so far
Soussa - player sold for £1.5 million this season is not half as good as Dennis
Mostto - been away from his family for 3.5 months. So I asked SD if Mostto hasn't had sex for 3.5 months, no wonder he ain't scoreing in more ways than one.
Odejayi - I asked about his lack of aggresion and how SD can improve on that, SD said your born with this and they are doing there best with Odejayi, but SD confirmed that they have a really good player here if he would open up a bit, SD said he has never seen anybody as fast on a football field
Nyatanga - is worth about 3 to 4 million
De Silva - could come back if he dosen't break into first team at Everton but don't be surprised if another club pays alot for him
Werling - coming on in leaps and bounds - getting better every match
Foster - although unhappy at Burnley - very happy to play anywhere at Barnsley
McCann - not a winger but a defensive left sided midfielder
Stan - the team is missing his agression

Drinking culture at the club has been broken but they are constantly aware of slip ups by British born players
If he was given 3 million he would buy a forward because forwards win games
Not bothered where we are this season as long as we are not looking over our shoulders at the end of the season
SD wants to see Barnsley in the Premeirship in the next few years

Overall assessment of SD - (int he young when you get close up to him !!!) very confident, well spoken, intelligent, although there is a lot of technology behind fitness SD seems to simplify how he sees football

Also asked SD - I saw a dafodil (welsh see boyo) coloured helicopter taking off in the club car park on Wednesday morning - was it his helicopter !!!..............he said no, but he was in it at the time

For those that were there, owt else anybody ???

Oh yes................academy

Question - would you prefer the money spent on the academy be made available to you for new players
SD - the money spent on the academy is negligable and wouldn't make any difference to his budgets, so its better spent on the academy to see if it can produce a good player, and you only need one player to make it for all the efforts to be worth it
