Quite honestly we could have appointed Jose Mourinho as manager and 80% of people on here would still whinge. In fact that's all most people do on here, whinge and moan and complain. Now Davey's our "proper" manager - how about supporting him? He's only lost 3 out of 8 matches (although even I admit yesterday was an absolute horror story) so give him a bit of time and you never know. I remember everyone on here whinging about Ritchie being given the job - you all seemed to shut the f**k up in May.
</p> Sorry but I'm usually one to see the positive side of things and i'm really, really struggling. I just cant see how he's been given the job given the performance yesterday and those atQPR and Leceister.</p> Robbie Williams in central midfield. FFS.</p> Massive gamble. Hopethe board aren'tlooking at those job applications again in 12 games time. </p> </p>
If they do, you might be in with a shout With your years of computer management experience you'll be next in line after Davey
You are joking right City will be way too expensive to be considered for that position. We will be trying a player manager next saves on a wage that does
aye the Robbie thing was a mystery and I haven't seen QPR or Leicester. But the fact remains - supporters need to, well, support their team. Only one more match to go and the transfers start.
williams in midfield....reminds me of keegan.. when he played Southgate in midfield for England v Germany.....
Nah he's off to Sunderland allegedly More likely to be someone <s> we cant sell</s> committed to Barnsley like say R Williams
I think we have gone for cheap option again a more experienced manager i think we needed.Anyway even though i dont think it is the correct decision i will be 100% behind him and the team like i always am COME ON U REDS.I hope come may he has proved me wrong and we will still be in championship.
its the most bizzare decision iv seen at oakwell for a long time... you've got possibly 3 options for centre midfield given the circumstances we had yesterday-Wroe, Tonge and Healy. fair enought Wroe is shocking, so forget him, but Tonge and Healy would've been a better bet than Williams. Just hope Davey doesn't go the way keegan did with England..
RE: Get behind Davey -there's no other option A caretaker manager loses 3 of his previous 4 games, yet is appointed full-time! Bizarre, and the timing of the announcement too. If there's truth to Howard and Hassell leaving, we've little hope of staying up. However, Davey's the new man and in spite of his tactical failings yesterday, we've no option but to get behind him.
