All the players who I think are ****, he also thinks are ****. I like that. Wiseman, Perkins, McNumpty, Etuhu all moved on or looking to be moved on, and M'Voto dropped. If he can just be convinced that Dawson and Kennedy need to be dispensed with then we really will be getting somewhere.

It reminds me of when Mark Robins came in and decided after ten minutes that both Special Kay and O'Neill Thompson were garbage. It really does give you faith in the manager.

 

I will give credit if it's due but it's not likely with those two. Kennedy was much better against Blackpool but it doesn't excuse the previous twenty bad performances.

 

Sorry but sometimes Kennedys especially just been left. Cywka and McCourt don't help him and he needs help like any full back does. They work in a partnership. There full backs the wide midfielder responsibility and those two don't seem to see it.

Spot on Phil. Kennedy has been playing in the worst position on the field with no cover and playing to his manager's tactics. Let's see how he does now we have a proper manager.

 

I'll be honest I've given Kennedy plenty of stick but it's no coincidence that when he's had a team player in front of him in Jennings he's done a lot better than when he's had Cwyka or McCourt there

Kennedy and Dawg have raised their game since DW came in, carry on like they are and they deserve to be picked. Have to say I've always thought Dawg had something like.

 

Wasn't he awful when he had a team player in perkins in front of him earlier in the season or did I hallucinate that.

 

Kennedy I can't sexy I understand as despite an ok game against Blackpool he has looked as poor as ever under Danny. Dawson probably the best of a bad bunch from central midfield. Lacks the ability to compete with most in the championship but tries hard.

No way am I having this new excuse for Kennedy underperforming this season. The bloke ahead of him's fault? Jesus wept.

When we play - in essence - a five man midfield or defence, he looks better, performs better. But in a 4-4-2 he's inept.

I'd play Nyatanga at left back personally, but yes Kennedy looked okay against a garbage Blackpool side.




Dawson I've always liked, from day one. I just didn't like him and Perkins in a central two.

He'd still make way for Mellis, Lawrence or Hassell though if I was picking the side.

 

Maybe not an excuse but just a bit of balance to the whole Kennedy thing.

 

If it's the wingers fault (let's say Paddy or Cywka) for not helping TK defend, is it TK's fault when they don't score a magnificent goal?
