    He told me it could well be K.O's day before kick-off. How right he was proved to be. Good on yer John, him 'n Barry Davies in MOTD's heyday are the main reasons I wanted to get into football commentating in the 1st place. I was physically shaking when I met the great man in the sheepskin coat!

    Aye, he's still got it, no matter what anybody sez. Does fantastic for a 63 year old, the only mistake he made was calling Disco - Delaney in t'first half.
