Tomorrows NOTW have more of the story............

Eriksson was caught in an elaborate tabloid sting in Dubai

England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson told the News of the World newspaper that three unnamed English Premiership clubs are riddled with corruption.
The alleged corruption relates to illegal payments in transfer deals.
The Swede and his agent Athole Still are said to have named the clubs in a meeting with an undercover reporter.
Eriksson has already announced his intention to sue the paper following last week's story that he will quit the England job after the World Cup.
The News of the World does not name the Premiership clubs in question for legal reasons, but does provide a series of clues as to who they are.
These allegations of corruption come hot on heels of similar claims made by Mike Newell.

Newell optimistic following talks

The Luton manager held talks with the Football Association on Wednesday to discuss what he has described as a "bung culture" in the game.
The FA was prodded into action by Newell's comments that he had been offered bungs, or illegal payments, by agents in the past.
In relation to Eriksson's remarks, the FA has said it will wait until it has read the story on Sunday before deciding on whether to make any official comment.
Eriksson is also quoted suggesting that Sir Alex Ferguson should have left Manchester United in 1999 following their Champions League success.
On Ferguson, Eriksson is reported to have said: "After winning the treble, he should have said 'thank you, goodbye'."
'Fake Sheikh'
Eriksson, who is under contract as England coach until 2008, was on an FA-sanctioned trip to Dubai when he is said to have been contacted by rich Arab who said he wanted to discuss a coaching job at a new football academy in Dubai.
He is said to have told this man, a celebrated undercover reporter, that Aston Villa was for sale, that England captain David Beckham would return to play in England if Eriksson asked him to, and that striker Michael Owen was not happy at Newcastle.
Eriksson, who has never managed an English club side, is also reported to have said he would like to be paid as much as Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, the top earner in the Premiership
The reporter in question, Mazher Mahmood, has a track record of trapping public figures in embarrassing stings.
Among other big names caught out by the "Fake Sheikh" are England rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio and the Countess of Wessex.

If he's named the clubs And the personnel, and is prepared to defend any accusations, then he can join Newell and Holloway as 'heroes' in my book. It goes on. We all know it does, All it takes is someone of 'genuine standing' to blow the whistle. Thing is, I doubt he will.
He has named the clubs but........ The NOTW can't/won't print them. They make 'suggestive remarks' though so shouldn't take people long to work them out, even on hangover sunday.
The NOTW have fecked it all up in my book by entrapment but how many times do the FA and Sven make stupid mistakes? The FA sanctioned the trip so really they're are more responsible than Sven.
What a sorry mess our FA and the British media are..........
But tomorrows paper sales will say we are the ones who cause it........because we buy the paper in the first place. That'll be the media line anyway.

RE: He has named the clubs but........ If it's in the public interest - and the England coach saying that our game/some of its clubs are corrupt and he has proof - then I applaud them. If they're going to insinuate, in much the same way people on here do with their 'inside information' about transfers, takeovers and appointments, they can f**k right off.
RE: He has named the clubs but........ i'll be getting it best paper a week ..sven sack the feckker''get pearce in ..or ritchie..(dancin)
RE: He has named the clubs but........ I'm all for naming and shaming, ireally am but the way that the NOTW the world have gone about it is all wrong.
I work for Powergen, who are a very large concern, and in turn I live the dream of the company. Its my job to as such. But and its a big BUT if a bloke takes me to one side and says we have an offer to go and work for such and such, i'd consider my position. But my story doesn't sell, on the flip side its the same story and it happens every day.
Sven has been daft but thats all. The NOTW world have caused a big stink in the year we didn't need it for their own gain.
Disclaimer
British gas you can't afford me??!!

RE: He has named the clubs but........ They do come from Nottingham Stevie so they rob from the rich to give to the poor!!
You must be a rich bloke mate!!
Disclaimer
Not the company line..
