It's my 40th birthday this weekend &, as I'm off work tomorrow, my colleagues gave me the gifts that they'd bought for me out of the whip round today. One of the gifts was a signed match ball. Now the last time I received a signed match ball was 10 years ago when I finished work at Lyons Bakery. We went on to get promoted that season. Wonder if the magic will work again?
Nice one. Your fault if we fail to get promoted then. Happy birthday anyway mate. You making any nights at the beer festival?
sat nav money was burning an hole in my pocket so I went and bought a Tom Tom One v3. £140 from Curries.
good for getting from A to B, but also all sorts of bells & whistles on it, especially useful for alertingto fixed cameras

Tonight Only night I can make this year unfortunately. I'm off out for a posh dinner tomorrow night & then it's party time on Saturday! A Barnsley/England double & the place will be bouncing!
Thanks I'll be getting to play with mine on Saturday. Not sure when I'll be putting it through it's paces as everywhere I need to go for the next month or so, I already know. It'll come in useful at some point in the future though, I'm sure.
Jolly good Hope you thoroughly enjoy. I've been quite ill this week so I'm in two minds about tackling the beer festival. If you get chance, could you give us a quick rundown of roughly how many beers there are and what tickled your fancy? It might just tempt me into action!
Happy Birthday , old buddy
Ok Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. This year there are 28 beers listed of which I tried 10. My personal favourite was Elland Breweries Goldrush which, at 4.6%, is very drinkable. As I was only there for one session, I decided to have this years silly strength beer, Old Freddy Walker, which at 7.3% is stupidly strong but tasted like very thick, alcoholic Dr Pepper. Hope this helps guide you.
