Bale missed a pen for the Taffys. Russian winner 10 minutes from time re-bound after a great save from Wayne Hennessey

They've now missed two penalties in two games  Could prove costly methinks?

Any defeat for the Welsh is a good result .......

......... as far as I'm concerned, seen as they think the same about the English

Good performance but nonetheless a defeat. 2nd half in particular I thought we deserved something out of the game, maybe even have sneaked it - that pen would have been a good start.

Home performances will be the key for us, as usual.

The encouraging thing is that over half of the starting line-up last night are still eligable for our U21's so the future's looking bright - and there's more to come through with the likes of Aaron Ramsey etc.

This Championship may still be a little too early though.
