Good to see jacob brown coming on

Even if only for a few minutes keeps putting them away for the u23s. I would start him at Blackpool in the cup give hI'm a full game.

 

It's great, and he has something about him. Not sure i would start him - need to treat it like any other game and play strongest team. Or if rotating give Armstrong a run up top. Bring him on if we're comfortable second half. He's still very raw so build him up slowly. Would be brilliant to finally get a class player through the academy who isn't a defender!

Thought Mottley-Henry was doing well this season but seems to have gone quiet?

 

Definitely wouldn't start him.

Great for him to get on but the FA Cup is important to us and we should put the strongest team available out.

for sure - we are out of the league cup so we need at least a semi final from it to ensure our 2 wembley appearances this season. And dependant upon the semi result we could go one better this season and have 3. That would be an expensive end to the season.

 

3 would be a bit greedy, I think we should just settle for two again. Semi final and final would do me nicely.

 

Got a feeling Mottley-Henry might be injured because he's not been playing for U23s but has just signed a new contract

 

Pleased he got a run out. Steady introduction for the lad may be better in the long run.
We're playing at a high level now & with a lot of intensity, so a big jump.

Agree would be great to bring a homegrown striker through the ranks. Been a while....
