really pleased for him. lucked good too. Him and the other centre back Brendan Galloway were dictating things at times either with the ball or pointing to tell the midfielders where to pass.

You're so very very confusing - you're slagging off our star strikers for missing "sitters" yet praising the opposition defence that "gifted" them those chances.

Make you're mind up mate. You're looking very daft.

That Brendan Galloway is an absolute tool. Definition of 'Big Time Charlie'. Glad Holgate came across fairly decent today because his defensive partner is a ****er.

I was, why? Didn't do anything wrong to me. Was a but annoyed with the lino in the first half. Saying that People near me could see why. He was quicker was was held back by a big shirt pull.

I watched it on stream and everytime the camera seemed to zoom in on him, he was either gobbing off being an arsehole to whoever he was marking or handing out little niggles. Did my tits in.

Wish we could have him back on loan for a year.

    Is pointing a brilliant attribute?

Suspect today when any cross came over. Great on the ball. Wonderful composure and passer of a ball. I loved him when he was here. At right back.

Would get absolutely shredded in the Premier League at centre half. Winnall found the spaces around him every time. Fortunately for Mason he was piss poor in front of goal for once.

Would I have Holgate on loan? Damn right. At full back.

Holgate is class. Bree just isn't looking his level at the minute.

I think it's a confidence/personality/psychological thing with Bree. He seems too 'nice'. Holgate has that arrogance about him and it helps his game massively.

The Everton fans on their forum will disagree with you. They were moaning they never won an header and said no where near ready. But they arn't obsessed with young players

    Bree plays too within himself.

    Yes he does.

Sometimes though that starts to make me think maybe he's not good enough.

He doesn't go down the outside and maybe that's because he knows he can't. I mean I've seen him do it but maybe be doesn't fancy himself.

George Smith had the same problem. He would always check back inside and slow the play down. If George had taken more risks and shown some self belief he may not have fallen so far. I hope Bree doesn't do the same.

At some point you have to take responsibility. You can't be a hot prospect forever.

I regularly speak to relatives of a young ex BFC player who has just been released from a league one side. He is 22. They say the same thing. We know he can do it but he is still playing like a young footballer. Playing it safe rather than taking responsibility and showing what he's about.

Luckily he's got another crack at league football but he may not get the chance again.

    You referring to RNL?

I know the lad. Last chance saloon, and he/they know it. Today was a great start for him.

Holgate might be a good back up for Roberts, Mawson or our right backs. The jury is out whether he could cope with Mesters football, let alone premier league. Hemsie, stop being such a Skysports slag, this is Oakwell... :D

    Not RNL.

    Same age bracket though.

I'm saying he's signed for a FL club. He might only still be on trial.

If you're talking about young Clark then no he hasn't got a club unless Mr Flitcroft has given him a contract this weekend. Really struggling to find a club otherwise.
