RE: nicely done go to the bottom of the home page.. Main Club Sponsors - Wake Smith Kit Suppliers - Surridge.... (doh)
oi I was trying to spare his feelings. But now that you mention it, did we really used to have a stand called the spoin kop?
I forgot--he's on his hols-said we might notice it wasn't updated as quick as usual or something along those lines

REDUCED SERVICE FOR TWO WEEKS

Posted on:Mon 02 Jun 2008

DUE to staff holidays, there will be reduced service on the Official Website for the next two weeks.
It's holiday time in the world of football and that includes the staff at Oakwell Stadium, so for the next two weeks, there will be a reduced service but should Simon Davey be in a position to announce new signings, these will be announced exclusively on www.barnsleyfc.co.uk before the ink is dry on the contract.
Normal service will be resumed on Monday June 16, 2008.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-however on a serious note if I was Barnsley Building Soc Chairman I'd be onto the club ASAP complaining-they stump up the sponsorship so ought to get a mention

but he isn't on his holiday's anymore It is June 16th today and today is when the mistakes that I was referring to occured. It was obvious that he was back today because old stories started jumping about all over the place being bumped back to the top etc and there were loads of irrelevent stories appeared.
its stupid........ all this stuff that gets said about rob knowles, if he does a spelling mistake people jump on his back, get a grip!
RE: nicely done I rec'd my ST through the post along with a compliment slip that stated Wake Smith were the club sponsor. Also, inside the book itself there is no reference to the CK Beckett Stand. It is still the Pontefract Rd End. I wonder what our new sponsors think of it?
RE: Was nothing to do with a spelling mistake nt It is pathetic that we can`t employ someone that could keep the website updated.
