    Is there any simple way that anyone knows of to find out the date on which certain pictures were taken?

    Zoom right in and see if you can see anyone reading a paper or 'owt - that'll have the date on.

    Click: Start&gt;Settings&gt;Control Panel&gt;Add/Remove&gt;Highlight Google Earth &amp; Remove it.</p>

    just press alt+f4 to bring up the dates menu.
