Google Maps - don't fancy this part of the journey!

    Go to www,google.com and click on maps.</p>

    In the search box at the top type New York to Paris and press enter.</p>

    In the directions bar at the left hand side, scroll down and read line 23.</p>

    Sometimes the directions change slightly so it may be line 22 or 24 but more often that not it's line 23.</p>

    Surely there's an easier way. Good old Google.</p>

    Try New York to London as well - for some reason you have to go via France

    So I guess its the same for most trans atlantic crossings.
