Like him or loath him, you cant deny the man has got the guts to do what he thinks is right for the club, only time will tell if these decisions are the right ones. He clearly doesnt give a flying f**k about some of the hysterical reactions that appear on this site after every move he makes. Football, like life in general,is about the "big picture", we, the general public (apart from one or two on this site who appear to have direct access to the inner workings of the Well), do not and probably never will, get to know what goes on behind the scenes at the Well. Does any body out there seriously think that he would deliberatly do anything that would put the club in danger,as for Macca, loved him as a player, dont know about his attitude as none of you do, its all conjecture, but he's gone, end of story, not the first good player to go and wont be the last, get over it and get down to the Well on saturday as normal, give the board time to get things right,it looks to me (more conjecture) that GS stood back and let Ritchie get on with it, made the decision enough was enough and has had to move fast to make changes, nobody in this world makes the right decision every time, as I said earlier only time will tell, personaly I hope the guys a f***ing magician and it all comes right.
Doesn't give a flying **** about the flak on here? You better believe he does! He's so thin-skinned he phones individual contributors personally to put em straight, then goes bleating off to Radio Deedar to deflect criticism away from him and on to his Manager. Whether what he was saying was right or wrong he shouldn't have gone public. A man who can't take criticism - not a good thing to have in a football club boardroom.
