Just had his chance of any success at the Cheltenham festival well and truly scuppered. What a ar5ehole
Good. Horrible man. He claims that he was just gesturing for the photographer to wait a minute while he got off the phone. ********, he was posing for the camera
I think that's the worst part about it all, the outrageously lame excuse of a statement he's put out.
It's not tho, he's very good at what he does and it'll all blow over and soon be forgotten. Money talks in most professional "sporting" scenarios.
Ho, how daft can a man get it's not only him that will suffer the stable lads and lasses the owner's and others, you would have thought he had more sense.
The only person who seems to be jumping to his defence is O’Leary and it was 1 of their horses in the photo. The BHA will allow his horses to run if transferred to another trainer.
Can't see him training again. O'Leary was already in the process of winding down his interest. I could see his remaining horses going to Henry de Broomhead when Elliot is banned indefinitely.
Good **** up Gordon... I’ll have Abracadabras, Envoi Allen, Samcro... might aswell throw Tiger Roll in there
I think O'Leary's going to have to do a reverse ferret on that if he wants to have runners at Cheltenham. The BHA have suspended Elliott from having runners at the Festival until the Irish inquiry is concluded. That's unlikely to be within the next two weeks, but even if it is it's not likely to favour him. They daren't risk a mere slap on the wrist because the outcry would be devastating for racing.
Is that right? I'd better check some of my ante post bets! Edit: didn't meant to sound callous, obviously the situation is more important than whether I make a few quid.
I knew he was a wrong un'. You get a gut feeling about some people. Even before this happened i'd have to exhaust all other options before backing one of his horses or it had to be a cert in my mind.
His dress style at the races was always very casual compared to his training colleagues. Seemed one on his own, to me.
