So Bostonwayne got the first one correct, but who will get this one?

Ex-Barnsley defender Paul Heckingbottom made his first appearance at Oakwell and the very next home game ex-Lincoln and Bury defender Ben Futcher made his Oakwell debut. What did they both do? Your clue is that Heckingbottom wasn't playing for Barnsley at the time, so don't start scouring your record books for his Reds debut.

    Re: Were they both mascots?

    JLWBigLil didn't mess about today!

10 year old Paul Heckingbottom was the mascot against Millwall on 19 December 1987 and Ben (son of Paul) Futcher led the team out a week later against Oldham. According to the programme, Ben's favourite players were Clive Baker and his dad, so he knew his football.

I think I need to make these questions harder!
